Margaret Garner Opera Party - Fundraiser

Toni Morrison

Thank you for making our Night at the Opera a grand success. On Tuesday,  September 11th, The Law and Policy Group, Inc.'s supporters attended  Margaret Garner, at Lincoln Center (NY). Margaret Garner presents a tragic part of American history in operatic form written by Toni Morrison with music composed by Richard Danielpour based on the tragic true facts that gave rise to Morrison's novel BELOVED. An enslaved mother's love for her children is put to a cruel test.
Proceeds from this event benefit
The Law and Policy Group, Inc.'s Black Women's Project.
